Sitting at Jesus' Feet

What is the meaning of sitting at Jesus’ feet? The test of discipleship is to accurately distinguish between a time to serve and a time to hear the word of God. We must be ready to submit and deny ourselves to hear the Lord’s instructions, even when ministerial duties abound. For disciples, duties should not take precedence over spending time, daily, at the feet of the Lord. The ultimate good in the life of one who seeks and accepts discipleship is intimacy with Jesus.
