Have You Accepted the Way of the Eagle?

I noticed a beautiful eagle soaring close to the sun. I continued to watch in amazement until my eyes began to burn. I felt the Holy Spirit posed a question to me, “Why can eagles fly so close to the sun?” I made a note of the question and continued my bible study.
This morning I visited the infamous question and allowed the answer to bring restoration to my soul and hopefully yours, too. Interestingly, debris accumulates on an eagle's most important attributes: wings and eyes. Eagles fly close to the sun to destroy the accumulated debris that weighed down their wings and impeded their powerful vision. Soaring and vision are two majestic attributes that distinguish eagles from other birds, and, probably, the reason God prefers to use profound eagle analogies in scripture.
Instantly, I thought about the poetic prayer I recited to God while enjoying His presence this morning. I remember speaking of certain ‘debris’ I had and still have and how it was truly a discomfort, impeding my faith and advancement. Some days my weights seem unbearable. As I trust God and follow Yeshua, the sizzling of the debris is a grievous reminder of my many weights. I suppose I had inconveniently decided to carry certain weights – guilt trips. After all, was not the accumulation of weights my fault?
God’s Spirit told me, “There are no wrong turns.” Under a baffled squint, I was ready to reject the thought. He finished, “I am your GPS. Even if off course for hours, I can get you en route within a second.” In addition, saints understand brokenness serves a purpose – ministry, in any capacity. It is torture to remember the great things you thought you lost, but do not forget the wisdom you gained. Do not forget you were confronted with your weaknesses and your strengths – all of which made you knowledgeable and stronger.
Saints, some of us have chosen to disregard Father’s directions because we thought we knew a better way, remember scripture tells us “there is a way that seems right, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12). Unfortunately, we silence His voice. There is no other way. There is no better way. Yeshua is the [ONLY] way, the truth, and the life. Go toward Yeshua in the next second and let Him burn those weights of condemnation off! In His presence, the debris will be destroyed and you will soar and obtain impeccable vision. Determine to come to Him daily.
As the sun is essential for an eagle to do majestic eagle things, so is Yeshua essential for saints to do godly, kingdom things. We really are set apart. Distinguished.
Do not allow years, months, or hours of debris to weigh you down or distort your vision. In this next second, go to Yeshua and be purified.
Each day we must ask ourselves, “…have I accepted the way of the eagle?”
